As a child leaves home and enters school, he/she gathers a wide range of knowledge. Over years, syllabus in schools has evolved from only text books to include various practical aspects. However, after talking to parents, we have realised that though children are taught good manners, team building, effective learning techniques, public speaking etc in school; there is still a gap in what is being taught to children and what they actually put into practice.

 

In this section we help "build" social skills within a child and develop their overall personality through our proprietary modules, customized for each age group, to fill the gaps that had been identified and acknowledged in earlier stage. Parents can opt for individual modules also and it is not mandatory to go through each and every module. The time duration of each module differs for different age groups.

 

GOOD MANNERS & ETIQUETTES –

Age group :-

This module is for age group 3-6 years, 7-10 years as well as 11-15 years.

 

Objective of the module :-

Children should be given freedom within certain limits so that they will be able to know what is right and what is wrong. They know social rules and regulations. They grow common sense. If their freedom is restricted they head towards the way of destruction. They cultivate ill or bad manners.

 

How do we teach :-

We teach manners like when to say thank you, sorry, excuse me; how to behave when at home, as a guest and in function etc. which they tend to forget in daily life.

TABLE MANNERS –

Age group :-

This module is for age group 3-6 years, 7-10 years as well as 11-15 years.

 

Objective of the module :-

Table manners form an important part of child grooming. It is more than about proper eating; it's about being kind and considerate to others. Other people judge your child on how they appear and having proper table manners is one way people judge children.

 

How do we teach :-

We teach table manners through demonstration and practise while playing games and having lots of fun.

POSITIVE STROKE –

Age group :-

This module is for age group 7-10 years as well as 11-15 years.

 

Objective of the module :-

Self-esteem is all about how much people value themselves, the pride they feel in themselves, and how worthwhile they feel. Self-esteem is important because feeling good about yourself can affect how you act. A person who has high self-esteem will make friends easily, is more in control of his or her behaviour, and will enjoy life more.

 

How do we teach :-

We help them build it back by certain activities and games that are both curative as well as preparatory. These activities act as positive stroke and encourage children to gain their confidence and self-esteem back. At the same time they help prepare kids to handle the stress that they are bound to face in later years. Role of parents is equally essential in building self esteem in children; hence, at the end of the module, there is one session especially for parents where we give them certain tips and advices.

CONFIDENCE BUILDING –

Age group :-

 

This module is for age group 7-10 years as well as 11-15 years.

 

Objective of the module :-

Coming up on the stage and speak something in front of a large audience is not easy, but the times demand confident people in every walk of life. Public speaking has become an integral part of every individual's life. This confidence need to be instilled in a child at a very young age because it is very difficult to break the shell in later years.

 

How do we teach :-

 

We help children to break their shell and come out confidently in front of society. We focus on eliminating performance anxiety during public speaking; with practice and much needed encouragement so that kids can be at their very best when speaking and performing in public. We also teach children various aspects of speech as well as gestures.

 

 

EFFECTIVE LEARNING TECHNIQUES –

Age group :-

This module is for age group 7-10 years as well as 11-15 years.

 

Objective of the module :-

Each student has different learning styles and capabilities. This module teaches them how to study smart and effectively, taking out ample time for play and hobbies. They also learn time management as well as planning their studies and homework properly so as to make better use of each day.

 

How do we teach :-

With the help of lectures we teach children basic techniques that help them to learn in much better way. We also teach them how to use memory aids that relate with the subject as one study it and hence help in retaining it in the mind.

LEADER MODULE –

Age group :-

This module is for age group 11-15 years.

 

Objective of the module :-

Take a look anywhere, there is a huge demand of effective leaders today. Be it politics, businesses, companies, sports or any other field. A leader is not a boss any more. A leader is a team player who works among a team and take his team along towards the path of success. The objective of this module is to help children understand the important traits of an efficient leader as well as how to be a good team player.

 

How do we teach :-

We have interesting games and activities for children to teach them the necessary attributes of a leader as well as develop team workmanship along with making friends. Children learn how to take initiatives, how to be a good winner, to be respectful to other players, how to be an active listener etc all while fun and enjoyment.

BODY LANGUAGE –

Age group :-

This module is for age group 11-15 years.

 

Objective of the module :-

Body language, gestures speak a volume about a human being's personality. Body language is a form of non-verbal communication that often speaks louder than words. It is comprised of posture, facial expressions and hand gestures.

 

How do we teach :-

We teach proper body language with the help of role plays, poems, team games etc.
